Last Summer you told us how much you love the Georgian Bay lifestyle, and we’ve concluded that there is never a dull season! We shared Part One of why you love Winter in the Georgian Triangle, and here is Part Two. We’re sure you’ll agree with this list!

Why We Love Winter in the Georgian Triangle: Part Two

  1. All the things to do in the outdoors; skiing, snowboarding… -Penny
  2. Lots to do in the outdoors with snowshoeing, skiing, skating. Theatre and Probus clubs as well as curling keeping everyone involved and entertained. – Linda

  4. There is always a way to enjoy the outdoors – which means there is no need to get cabin fever. From cross country skiing, downhill skiing,  snowboarding, skating, to walking up one of the beautiful main streets of our little towns on a Winter evening, there is always something to entice me to get out and enjoy the area! -Andie

  24. What’s not to love about the Georgian Triangle in Winter?! Not only do we have gorgeous ski and snowboarding hills, but we have skating, snowshoeing and snowmobiling too! There is so much to do. Try ice fishing, go for a sleigh ride, or just make snowmen in your front yard. A cup of hot chocolate does the trick for staying warm. Or stay inside, check out a local brewery or museum. Our area is so full of history waiting to intrigue you. I love living in the Georgian Triangle. -Melissa
