Your REALTOR® can confirm which chattels are included in writing in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Just because appliances were listed in the listing description doesn’t mean they will be.


Your REALTOR® can guide you through the process of negotiating for chattels. You can always ask for something to be included in the purchase of the home.

Just because it’s in the home, doesn’t mean it’s owned. Things like water heaters can be rented. Make sure you learn about lease terms and termination costs for the water heater, furnace, alarm system, etc.
