He was successful in the corporate world with decades at Colgate Palmolive and as an investment advisor before turning to real estate when he settled in the area full-time. “It’s just a wonderful lifestyle,” he says. The local sports scene is dear to Stan and his children and grandchildrenn who still come for weekends of skiing and cycling and whatever sport is on offer. “All the sports that draw people up here I do.”
